ETYMOLOGY
    the designation "vt3e" is derived from the tail of its DID:PLC
    identifier:
        did:plc:2hcnfmbfr4ucfbjpnvjq[vt3e]

    adoption of a raw identifier was chosen because conventional names
    induce a disconnect. "vt3e" does not evoke these feelings.

    it is pronounced "vee-tee-three-ee", but can be simplified to
    just "vee" or "vi" (pronounced "vee-eye", like the editor)
    for brevity. where does the "i" come from? magic! :3
